Built in 1959 for the 10th anniversary of the founding of the people's Republic of China, Beijing Railway Station, once the largest railway station in Asia, is now not only much smaller than Beijing South Railway Station and Beijing West Railway Station, but also smaller than the new railway station in any second-tier city in China.

In addition, you are advised not to shoot video casually in the sleeping car, especially those who are sleeping, because we Chinese think it is impolite to do so.

It's strange why no Indians condemn him for being loud in public and why are so many Indians accepting his rude way of speaking?

Thank you for these videos. It helps more than you can imagine because you have no idea how many people in this world are living inside the Media Prison. Thank you for contributing to helping them get out and see the world, to see China and other countries.

What I have seen the coach such neat and clean no one can imagine in India. You must acknowledge it.

@imosatsuma2056

Have you noticed that Chinese people rarely walk back and forth in trains or speak loudly? That's because it's very impolite to disturb others' rest on Chinese trains. Please abide by the rules of China. Don't wantonly break Chinese rules just to shoot videos. Also, do not put someone else's avatar on your cover without their permission.

China has to keep cheap travel options for the poor. There are always better options for the middle class and rich, options for the poor and people on budget. Either way the efficiency and cleanness are well maintained.

Dude your taking pictures and videos without their consent and when they complain, you accused them of being rude or deceitful, not fair! Try to take pictures and videos without consent in Western Europe, US, S Korea etc. you'll be stare to death or they'll outrightly ask you not to video tape them.

For the toilet in the train, you don't need to knock on the door to get responses, there's a sign showing if it's occupied or available

This lowest standard long distance Chinese train is 30% faster than rajdhani express. These trains will not be seen after few years because 100 % passenger trains will be bullet trains. It's already 75% now and running about 13000 services daily which is little more than all passenger trains in India including local trains.

@shyamranger

I don't think he stop you for showing inside train which is normally better than ordinary train in India. Every country have rules and you have to respect their rules when traveling. Maybe it is not allowed to talk and Walk too much as other passengers may get distrub.

In fact, the Chinese people were so frightened by this person who was taking photos everywhere with a camera, they didn't know how to deal with it. Moreover, this person was making loud noises in public. Fortunately, he was finally stopped by the worker, and the train was quiet again.

Bhai my observations,

1. You take normal trains in china, chinese will tag you poor. Class-class definitions.

2. You are not allowed to bring any traits of your own while travelling china. You shoukd completely behave like chinese there.

3. Chinese wont stand any small criticisms like your comment on charging points.

4. People dont prefer to talk I guess while travelling. All sit separately and silently.

To chinese, how true are these? Or these are opinions of very few people?

Some positives,

1. Travelling in china in general even though lot more expensive than India, it is very convinent and less stressful as there is no overcrowding anywhere for long travels, be it normal trains or bullet trains. Humare yahan bechare general bogie me to bhar jaate hai.

2. Cleanliness is well maintained in almost all cities.

3. Hotels are cheap yaar. I thought hotels will be equally expensive. But looks like its on par with India atleast outside of their major cities.

# 1 Wrong, nobody thinks you are rich or poor when u take this kind of train . #3 Wrong, this train started to operate before smartphones were created hence it was designed without considering the charging need, we all know this and we always bring power bank when onboard, As traveler u should find out in advance rather than complaining.

-

@alexanderli4338

Additionally, this might answers #2 it is very annoying to keep asking and talking to someone doesn’t understand English. Saying Nihao ( = hello, Excuse me …) instead of saying excuse me any time is much better helpful and understandable.

-

@ilovemyindia319

@alexanderli4338  In India also its same, many bogies were introduced before smartphones came. But they somehow fixed it with charging points later in every section. But I think that's ok. With almost absolute language barriers, it's hard to know everything upfront and these are experiences and learnings.

-

@alexanderli4338

@ilovemyindia319  # 1Thank you for letting me know about India. For China I can’t give you an accurate reason why they don’t fix it what I can tell is nowadays not a lot of ppl are using this kind of bogies and it is probably not worthy to invest. #2 There are a lot of info on google you can find.

#2你可以在谷歌上找到很多信息。

@taoxiaodong

1. No one knows whether you have to take a slow train because of financial difficulties or because you haven't bought a high-speed train or a ticket.

2.I don't know what you're talking about. You look like a foreigner. How can you act like a Chinese?

3.The slow train has a charging port, but he didn't find it. It's near the head of the bed. I'm sure.Young people who have never taken this kind of train certainly don't know.

4.It doesn't have to be quiet, but try not to make people around you feel noisy, especially when you're talking and people don't know what you're talking about, you'll feel like the tractor's motor is ringing all the time.

Finally, the blogger is not staying in a hotel, but in a homestay. Harbin is the off-season for tourism at this time. Harbin also has a nickname in China, Ice City. In winter, there will be super-large ice sculptures and architectural exhibitions made of ice. The ice is equipped with lights of various colors, which is very fantastic.

@ilovemyindia319

@alexanderli4338 Using smart phones has become a new norm by everyone and I can see that enough people travel on these trains. Charging points in my view is a basic essential. But I have seen in other videos that china wide there are availability of power banks for rental. Probably that could be the reason that it has not been thought of as essential in china.

@ilovemyindia319

@imosatsuma2056 yup he also said that in the end. Chinese don't like to show anything that they think is average or below average if it exists in China. Foreigners come to India, shoot slums and thieves market but we just don't even care for that and in fact suggest them to visit those places for different experiences. This train is much more comfortable and advanced to show but they don't want you to film it as it is an average or below average thing to them. So that's ok it's just how it is.

@ttai1603

Before coming to China, you should learn some simple Mandarin. It seems to me that it is difficult to understand when you go to a strange country without speaking any local language. Also, don't walk around and speak loudly to disturb others in private spaces such as trains. This is very impolite behavior. When you come to China, you must abide by Chinese laws and regulations.
